Movies that were made on boars
There have been many; many films set on a cruise ship most of which not being filmed on one. Here are just some of the ones out there that I would recommend you watch before you go on a luxury cruise
Titanic
Easily the most famous film set on a ship. This film bought in huge amounts of money, in fact a massive .8 Billion. It was also one of the most expensive films ever made costing a huge 0 Million. There are two fictional people in this film and they are at the centre point of this movie. A few characters within the movie that are based on real people.
The second speed film
This was actually a box office disaster as many of the films original actors did not return to make the sequel. Keanu Reeves really felt that the script was awful so did not actually return. The villan of the previous one did also not want to return. This does indeed show as much of the film is very bad. You have to watch this film because it has such a good ending.
The British made- Carry On Crusing
The Carry On series is huge and this is just one of those films. This was the very first Carry On film to be filmed in colour. It is on the list simply because it is my favourite film in the entire series and needed to be here because the whole of the film is set on a cruise ship.
So whether you are on your way to one of those cunard cruises or even a Silversea cruises make sure you check out these films first. Thinking about it, these films all spell diaster for cruise ships but do not worry as they are just movies right?

More people head to the ocean
Even in the depression it would seem that some businesses are doing really well and luxury cruises certainly seems to be one of them.
This year cruising has seen a 5% increase from 2008 sparking the question, how? By no means is going on a decent cruise cheap, how on earth are people finding the money to go on such cruises?
A lot of people seem to be looking after their money a bit more. People will save for many years just to go on a cruise and this is for many reasons.
Of course a reason for this could be that there are so many thigns to do on the ship. It has brilliant fitness facilities, swimming pools, fine dining and many other things on offer including dinner shows. It is truly brilliant how they manage to fit this all under one roof. Could the depression change next years figure?
Well it would seem so with another massive increase next year set to come in at 6.5%. Of course this could be to do with brand new cruise ships that are coming out next year. The prices of cruises are not as bad as they used to be. Take your pick as there are so many different package deals out there now. Due to all of these new companies starting up with new cruise ships it would seem the prices are going to decrease even further in the next few years. So now is the time to look for a cruise holiday, they are also very relaxing as you are free to do whatever you want, check out the pool, hit the gym or just relax in your cabin.
Of course the percentage increase is just estimation and we might not see as many people taking river cruises as well as cunard cruises like we first thought, however all we can really do is wait it out.
